Hey y’all, so the spring semester is coming to an end and I could use your help with one of my papers!
Luckily, I don’t have any final exams this year BUT I have 4 final papers due on the same day and they’re all pretty intense. One paper is an analysis of toxic masculinity in Fight Club, the second paper is about the political climate in Estonia, the third paper is a lit review on contemporary liberalism, and the final paper – the one I’ll need your help with – is a research paper about “emotional reactivity to film/storytelling.”
I chose this topic because I’ve always been a huge fan of watching movies & reading books. Film and literature give us a chance to live vicariously through the experience of others and I won’t go into detail about which one I prefer right now, but we can all agree that all forms of storytelling are unique in their own way.
So, I’m asking for your help! Since the paper focuses on how we respond to different forms of storytelling – I need some volunteers! I complied a few questions into a survey, and it will take about 15 minutes. There are four movie clips, and four written descriptions/dialogues in the survey – one of them has some slightly graphic (body horror) content, so just a warning. I’m looking for at least 50 participants (ages 25-35) to volunteer. If you have some extra time to fill it out, I’d really appreciate it!!
I’ll admit that today is kind of a cheat day but I’ll be back tomorrow with something not school related.
